About Nana
In addition to baking for my family and friends for the past 35 years, I have also been teaching baking, and the history of food to students and their families. In my classes (both in person and virtual), I have been able to reach many eager bakers, both novice and experienced. My repertoire often includes traditional Jewish holiday baked goods as well grain free and gluten free specialty items.
The genesis of my love for baking dates back to my own family: My mother and Nana were both great bakers! I will always treasure my childhood memories of going to my nana's New York City apartment and running into her cozy kitchen to see what she had recently prepared. Everything she baked was made with love. In her memory, I have followed in her footsteps and my passion for baking permeates my kitchen daily.
